Birth18 Jan 1826 Judith Garrett was born on 18 Jan 1826.2 
Marriage6 Nov 1845 She married William G. Larimer, son of John Larimer and Mary McKee, on 6 Nov 1845 in Washington County, Virginia.1 
Cens-18503 Sep 1850  Judith and William lived in Washington County where they were enumerated in 1850 with 2 children: 3 year old Jessee and 9 month old Nancy. William and Judy were both 25. John Larimer [William's father] lived nearby. Interestingly, a 25 year old William Larimer was also enumerated in John's household.3,4 
Cens-186023 Aug 1860  By 1860 John (age 90) was a member of William's household which also included, besides Judy, the following children: Jesse (13), Nancy (11), Eliza (9), John (7), James (5), William (3) and George (1).5 
  The family eventually included 13 children. An infant daughter died a few days before the 1860 census taker visited the home. 
Cens-18803 Jun 1880  In 1880 William, at age 57, was still farming, albeit with the help of several sons. Judy was 53. The household that year included: James H. (22), John V. (24), William C. (20), Sarah Jane (17), M.F.V.(dau, 15), Laura (13) and Leonidas (12).6 
Cens-190016 Jun 1900  William died in 1896. Judith lived with her son James at the turn of the century. Her entry stated she was the mother of 11 children, 10 of whom were living [she was actually the mother of 12 children and 9 were living]. James was a farmer and was not yet married.7 
Death7 Jan 1909 Judith died on 7 Jan 1909 at age 82.2 
Burial She was buried at Zion Methodist Cemetery in Washington County, Virginia.2
