Marriage14 May 1900 She married second David D. Buchanan, son of David Buchanan and Nancy E. Robinson, on 14 May 1900 in Washington County, Virginia. David was a widower.2 
Cens-1900  A few months later David and "Lara" were enumerated on the 1900 census for the Glade Spring district of Washington County. Laura's children were not recorded with them, however 3 of David's children were present.7 
  Laura's 8 year old son Claude was enumerated in the home of his father's sister Florence and her husband James Beattie Ryburn.8 
Death19 Jun 1908 Laura died on 19 Jun 1908 at age 41.4 
Burial She was buried at Oak Hill Cemetery in Washington County, Virginia.4
