BirthCircacirca 1854 Andrew Edmondson was probably born in Virginia circa 1854. The 1900 census reported that he was born in May 1852, but that is not consistent with his reported age on the 1860 or 1880 census records.4,5 
Cens-18607 Aug 1860  Andrew spent his childhood in a large household in Washington County, Virginia, which included his father and mother, older siblings John, Samuel, Margaret, Harriet, Florence and Miriam (Rosa), younger sister Martha, and his paternal grandmother, Martha Edmondson.4 
Ward22 Dec 1862  Andrew's father died in January 1862. The following December Andrew's older brother Samuel became his guardian.2 
Marriage He married Callie Hancock.6 
Cens-188015 Jun 1880  Andrew and Callie lived in Bosque County, Texas, as early as 1879. They were enumerated in June of 1880 with their 8 month old daughter, Annie, who was born the previous October in Texas. Andrew, recorded as A.S. Edmondson, was a farmer. Callie's father, J. M. Hancock was living with the couple and helping with the farm.7 
Cens-19004 Jun 1900  By 1900 Callie had died. Andrew was enumerated in Bosque County that year with 3 children: Anna (20), Eddie (17) and Maggie (14). They were living in the community of Valley Mills where Andrew was a stock dealer.5 
Deathbefore 1910 Andrew probably died before 1910 as his 3 children were enumerated living on their own in Valley Mills in April 1910.8
