Marriage31 Jul 1891 She married Jacob Oliver Susong, son of Mahlon S. Susong and Mary Ellen Buchanan, on 31 Jul 1891 in Washington County, Virginia. They were second cousins, once removed.5 
1 Aug 1891 She was 19 and he was 27. 
Cens-Sum Jacob and Elizabeth lived and farmed in the Goodson District of Washington County. There they raised five children, including a daughter, Martha who died in 1906 at five years of age.4,6 
Legatee30 Jun 1906  Elizabeth's cousin (once removed), Elizabeth Byars Hall, left her $250 when she wrote her will in 1906. In addition she received a silver pitcher and goblets, and a linen bed spread.7 
Death4 May 1911 Elizabeth died on 4 May 1911 at age 39.3 
Burial She was buried with her husband Jacob and daughter Martha in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Washington County, Virginia.3 
 Twelve years after Elizabeth's death in 1911, Jacob married her aunt, Lucy Ryburn, who was the younger half-sister of Elizabeth's mother.
