Cens-193010 Apr 1930  Prior to his marriage Henry lived at home with his parents and siblings in the Glade Spring District of Washington County, Virginia. In 1930 Henry was enumerated teaching high school. He was 25. Four older brothers were also still living at home: Arthur (39), Clark (35), Thomas (30) and George (26). Thomas was employed as a lawyer; the other brothers worked the family farm.5 
Marriage16 Aug 1933 He married Elizabeth Gray Frampton on 16 Aug 1933.6 
  They were both 28. 
Death10 Mar 1971 Henry died on 10 Mar 1971 at age 66.3 
Burial He was buried at Old Glade Spring Cemetery in Washington County, Virginia.3
