Education Margaret was educated at Martha Washington College.5 
Occupation She then taught school until her marriage.5 
Marriage21 Mar 1888 She married William E. Jones Hutton, son of Dr. Arthur Dixon Hutton and Sarah Elizabeth Buchanan Ryburn, on 21 Mar 1888 in Washington County, Virginia.2 
Cens-191011 May 1910  The 1910 census taker recorded that she was the mother of seven childen who were all living.6 
Death17 Jun 1936 Margaret died on 17 Jun 1936 in Glade Spring at age 73.7 
Burial She was buried at Old Glade Spring Cemetery in Washington County, Virginia.8 

Research Comment:

The Washington Co. Birth Register notes the birth of a child, William Hutton, born on March 24th 1892 to E.J. and M.E. Hutton. This appears to be a twin to Lillian Rachel, however it seems odd that there is no entry for Lillian in the same register. Also, Margaret's 1900 and 1910 census entries state that all of her children were living. Hence, for the moment, I have not added William as an additional child.9
