Birth8 Feb 1803 Jane Edmiston Robinson was born on 8 Feb 1803 in Virginia.3 
Devisee  Jane's father left Jane the bulk of this land when he died in 1847; Jane's mother was to live on it with her during her lifetime.2 
Cens-Sum  The land sat on the north side of the Middle Fork of the Holston River. The tract was originally surveyed in the late 1800s as 122 acres but was actually considerably larger. It surrounded a small parcel incorporating the old Ebbing Spring Cemetery.

Jane did not marry. She was enumerated in both 1850 and 1860 living with her mother who held a life estate in the property and who was recorded as the head of the household. Their land was valued at $1,500 in 1850 and $1,200 in 11860.4,5 
Deathbefore Nov 1867  Jane died prior to the fall of 1867 at which time her heirs began to sell the land on the river.
