Birth1866 Ann Elizabeth Horne was born in 1866 in Virginia.3 
  Ann Elizabeth, who appears in records as Elizabeth, or Betty, did not marry. She spent her childhood in the family home along the Old Stage Rd. (now Rt. 11) in Washington County. Prior to the advent of railroad service, the home served as an inn for stage coach travelers. Elizabeth's father died in 1873 however Elizabeth and her mother (who died in 1928) remained in the home with Elizabeth's brother William, who himself did not marry until later in life.2,4,1,5,6,7 
Death1940 Ann died in 1940.3 
Burial She was buried at Old Glade Spring Cemetery in Washington County, Virginia.3
