Mrs. Harry Wait,
Burnside, Kentucky.

Dear Mrs. Wait:
Your favor of June 30th is on my desk.  also the data showing burials at Mount Pisgah Cemetery.  I have taken the liberty of making a copy of these records for my files, and am returning your MS with this letter for fear it becomes misplaced.

Regarding the Clark Family of Pawnee.  Ed. _ Clark, the father lived to be quite old.  He died about three or four years ago, leaving a son Wait and a daughter Florence (Mrs. A. _. Armstrong) of Picker, Okla.  If my memory serves me correctly it was Mrs. Clark who was a Wait.  I believe she is living, but right now I cannot tell you where.

Wait Clark is now an attorney for the Phillips Petroleum Company, is located at Bartlesville, Okla.  I see him, frequently, and when next I see him I shall tell him about you and either get the data about his family or have Mr. Clark write you direct.

My summer plans are not as yet complate [sic], but I believe I shall have time to make Somerset, and the county seats of Lincoln, Cumberland, Wayne, and others of the counties thereabouts including Rockcastle.  If I get to Somerset, I shall certainly see you.

Meantime let me thank you for your interest and help and for being so good as to lend me the Mount Pisgah data.
                                                                Yours sincerely,

                                                           Redmond Selecman Cole,
                                                                 Box 92, Tulsa, Oklahoma

Enclosures:
