Birth10 Apr 1880 Graham Lansdowne Gardner was born on 10 Apr 1880 in Virginia.1 
Childhood Graham grew up in his parents home in Smyth County, Virginia. Various census records described the location as "the Saltville district", Marion, or Seven Mile Ford. Graham was the youngest in a family of 10 children. Following his father's death in 1903, Graham remained at home with his mother and 2 older sisters.3,4,5 
Marriage20 Jul 1911 He married Maude Geneva Young on 20 Jul 1911 in Grayson County, Virginia.6 
  She was the daughter of Isaac Newton and Clementine Young.7 
Cens-1920Jan 1920 The 1920 census listed Graham and Maude residing in the Marion district of Smyth County. The enumeration stated that they were the owners of the farm on which they were living.8 
Cens-19302 May 1930  Ten years later the family had grown to include two sons.9 
  Graham and Maude's home sat up the hill from the McMullin railroad siding, and was the former home of Fayette McMullin. The property backs up to the South Fork of the Holston River.7 
Death5 Apr 1959 Graham died on 5 Apr 1959 at age 78.10 
Burial He was buried at Roselawn Cemetery in Smyth County, Virginia.10
