Name Other  She was known in the family as "Sandy", a nickname also given to her uncle Alexander for whom she was no doubt named.2 
  Alexandria grew up in a beautiful valley north of Glade Spring on land deeded to her father by his father, Benjamin Keys Buchanan. Several uncles and their families also lived in the area; an aunt, Jean (Buchanan) Lyons, inherited the old family home known as Keywood.7,5,8 
Residence1962 Alexandria and her sister Nancy (neither of whom married) lived on Pearl Street in Bristol, Virginia, in 1962, A third sister, Rachel Goode Buchanan, died in 1962.3 
Death14 Jan 1979 Alexandria died on 14 Jan 1979 at age 88.6 
Burial She was buried at Old Glade Spring Cemetery in Washington County, Virginia.6
