Marriage23 Sep 1891 She married Dr. Andrew Fullen Horne, son of John Edmondson Horne and Mary B. Fullen, on 23 Sep 1891.4 
24 Sep 1891 She was 22 and he was 34. 
  Laura's sister Mattie married Andrew's brother John in 1896. 
Cens-19001 Jun 1900 Andrew and Laura lived in the Glade Spring community of Washington County where they were enumerated on the 1900 census. They had been married 9 years. In reply to the census taker's questions, Laura stated that she was the mother of 2 children and that they were both living.5 
  This did not accurately reflect the fact that a third child had been born and died in 1899. 
Cens-191016 Apr 1910  By 1910 Andrew and Laura's family included six children: "C. Lincoln", Mary, Andrew,"L. Margaret", Herbert and the infant John Henry. Laura was again asked how many children she had given birth to and on this census she replied 7 and that 6 were living.6 
Cens-19201920 All six children remained at home through at least 1920. When they were enumerated that year C. Lincoln was recorded as "Lincoln C." and L. Margaret was recorded as "Margaret L."7 
Devisee1928 Laura's aunt, Emily V (Clark) Clark left her home to Laura and her brother Willard.8 
  Emily was the sister of Laura and Willard's deceased mother. 
Death19 Jun 1955 Laura died on 19 Jun 1955 at age 85.1,3 
Burial She was buried in the Horne square at Old Baptist Cemetery, Washington County, Virginia.3
