  Following their marriage the couple traveled by horseback to Garrard County, Kentucky. The trip took 3 weeks.5 
Death29 Sep 1856 Mary died on 29 Sep 1856 at age 56.3 
Burial She was buried at Columbia Cemetery in Columbia, Boone County, Missouri.3 
  Mary and Samuel may have been initially interred on their own property. An 1882 county history states that Samuel was buried by the side of his wife on the old homestead.5
