Birth2 Apr 1819 William R. Crow was born on 2 Apr 1819.3 
Marriage He married Elizabeth M. Kelly, daughter of Samuel Kelly and Jemima Childs. 
  William and Elizabeth lived in the Glade Spring District of Washington County, Virginia, on land left to William in the will of his father, James Crow. They were the parents of 15 known children. For some years they also provided a home for Elizabeth's sister Isabella Kelly who was enumerated in their household in 1860 and described as a "hereditary idiot" [Elizabeth's brother John was similarly afflicted]. Five of William and Elizabeth's children died in infancy. In addition son Samuel died in his early teens.4,5,1 
Death26 Dec 1886 William died on 26 Dec 1886 at age 67.3 
Burial He was buried at Kelly's Chapel Cemetery in Washington County, Virginia.3
