Will | 4 Dec 1822 | John wrote his will on 4 Dec. 1822 and modified it on the 11th. He named his sons James, Andrew E., Samuel, William, Henry and Anthony (the last 3 were indicated as the eldest). He also mentioned money that would have been coming to "Robert Kelly had he lived". It is not clear if this was another son. John also named daughters Jane and Martha Kelly, Elizabeth Robinson and Peggy. He asked to be buried by the side of his wife Jane in the Ebbing Spring graveyard. Sons Andrew and James, along with David Robinson were named executors. The will was witnessed by Joseph Pendelton, Andrew McKee, Robert S. Todd and Andrew Edmiston. It was recorded in court on 21 Jan 1823.3 |
