Birth9 Oct 1846 Orrie T. Brown was born on 9 Oct 1846.2 
Marriage22 Sep 1868 She married Rev. Tobias F. Smyth, son of William Eakin Smyth and Mary Ann Meldrum, on 22 Sep 1868.3 
  For some years Tobias suffered from poor health and was not able to actively practice his ministry. 
Cens-18803 Jun 1880  During one of these periods he and Orrie lived with her brother Robert Brown and his family. They were recorded in the Brown household in the Glade Spring district of Washington County in 1880.4 
  In 1881 he returned to the ministry for a few years.5 
Death23 Jan 1903 Orrie died on 23 Jan 1903 at age 56.2 
Burial She was buried at Smyth's Chapel Cemetery in Washington County, Virginia.2
