Cens-18501850  Jane had been widowed a little over a year when the 1850 census recorded her living in Washington County. Also living with her were her children, James, 23, Mary 20, Susannah 17, William 14, Sarah 10 and Robert seven.3 
Cens-18601860  Ten years later only Sarah and Robert remained at home. The 1860 census listed Jane as owning land worth $4,000 and personal property of the same amount.4 
Cens-1850- Slave16 Jul 1860  The personal property included 6 slaves.5 
Death17 Aug 1862 Jane died on 17 Aug 1862 at age 56.2 
Burial She was buried at Old Glade Spring Cemetery in Washington County, Virginia.2

It does not specifically state that they are the children of Robert Clark, though that is inferred. Robert Clark was William G. Clark's deceased brother.
