  4. [S2] Catherine McConnell, High On A Windy Hill, p. 210. Stone reported to read: Margaret Snodgrass, d. 9 Jun 1849, age 44y 4m 11d. This data computes to a birth date of 29 Jan. 1805 which is not consistent with Margaret's date of birth as recorded in her brother Peter's Bible. A photo suggests this was a replacement stone. A second, probably original stone, states that Margaret died in 1847.

  10. [S2] Catherine McConnell, High On A Windy Hill, p. 210, 211. There are two stones for Margaret Snodgrass in Rock Springs Cemetery. The oldest was read as: Margaret Snodgrass, d. 9 Jun 1847, age 44y 4m 11d. This is the same date of death entered for her in her brother's bible. However a second stone, which carries both Margaret and Samuel's names and appears to be newer, states that Margaret died in 1849. It appears to have been carved with the wrong year of death.
