  Annie's place of birth was reported by her daughter, Elizabeth (Kelly) Allison, as Coffee County, Tennessee (in her book Early Southwest Virginia Families), yet the 1880 and 1900 census records list her place of birth as Virginia. Ms Allison's book also notes that Annie's parents spent some time living in Tennessee prior to the Civil War. 
Cens-18804 Jun 1880  Annie was enumerated on the 1880 census living in her father's household in the Glade Spring District of Washington County, Virginia. She was 22 years old. Annie's 24 year old sister Nancy was also listed.4 
  The 2 women were the only surviving children in a family that had, at one time, consisted of 5 or 6 children. 
Marriage28 Nov 1883 She married William Keys Kelly, son of John Kelly and Elizabeth Buchanan, on 28 Nov 1883.1,5

Cens-190012 Jun 1900  Annie and William lived in the Holston District of Washington County, Virginia, with their 6 children. William was a farmer.3 
Death20 Sep 1940 Annie died on 20 Sep 1940 at age 85.1 
Burial She was buried at Kelly's Chapel Cemetery in Washington County, Virginia.6
