Marriage9 Oct 1845 She married Robert Hecter Henderson, son of Thomas Henderson and Helen Ley, on 9 Oct 1845 in Washington County, Virginia.6 
Cens-18501 Aug 1850 Two years before Minerva's death she and Robert were enumerated on the 1850 census of Washington County with their son Mathew and their daughter Martha. Also living with them was a Mathew Clark, age fourteen and a William Harvey, age 27. Robert was employed as a clerk.7 
  Robert and Minerva would also have a daughter, Mary, who was born in 1851 and who died in 1852 a few months before Minerva's death. 
Death17 Dec 1852 Minerva died on 17 Dec 1852 at age 25.4 
Burial She was buried at Old Glade Spring Cemetery in Washington County, Virginia.4 
1856 In 1856, four years after Minerva's death, Robert married her cousin Mary Love Clark. They would have one child together before Robert's death in 1858. By 1860 Minerva's two surviving children were living with other family members and/or friends.
