Cens-190022 Jun 1900  In 1900 Samuel and Hattie lived in Canyon City, Randall County, Texas, where Samuel was employed as a salesman. He was 37. Hattie was 22. Her entry indicated she was the mother of 1 child. Although a 1 had also been initially entered in the column for "number of children living" it had been crossed out, suggesting the couple may have had a first child who did not survive.4 
Widowed26 Sep 1909  Samuel died on 26 Sep 1909 in Stanley, Santa Fe County, New Mexico. 
Marriage Hattie married second James Davidson.1 
Cens-191019 May 1910  The 1910 census enumerated the family in Corona, Lincoln County, New Mexico, where James Davidson ran a saloon. James was 45; Hattie was stated to be 27. Hattie's son from her first marriage lived with the couple and was enumerated as Samuel Davidson, not McCamant. The household also included two month old Clarence Davidson.5 
Cens-192017 Jan 1920  In 1920 James' occupation was listed as "rancher". Hattie's son Samuel McCamant, now known as Jack Davidson, was part of the 1920 household as was James and Hattie's son Allen.6,7 [Clarence Allen] 
Marriage She married Mart Shelton.8 
DeathAug 1969 Hattie died in Aug 1969 at age 90.2 
Burial She was buried at Corona Cemetery in Corona, Lincoln County, New Mexico.9
