Birth7 Mar 1822 Rebecca Fulton was born on 7 Mar 1822 in Washington County, Virginia.2,3 
Cens-185021 Aug 1850  In 1850 Rebecca resided in the household of Moses Robinson in Washington County. She was probably keeping house for Moses, his brother E.A. (Ebenezer Alexander), James Buchanan (a merchant) and Roger Reed (a clerk) who were also part of the household.4 
Marriage27 Jul 1854 Four years later, on 27 Jul 1854, Rebecca Fulton married Ebenezer Alexander Robinson in Washington County.1,5 
Residence  Ebenezer then built a large brick home on the Robinson property, not far from the log cabin in which he and his siblings (and Rebecca) had previously lived.6,7,8 
Cens-18603 Jul 1860  There he and Rebecca were enumerated in 1860 with their first son, two year old John. Several other individuals lived with them: James Edmondson (18) and James Barlow (16, both farm laborers), Sallie Fulton (80) [probably Rebecca's mother], and Mary Snodgrass (35, seamstress).9 
Cens-187029 Sep 1870  A second son, Moses Walter, joined the family in 1864.6 
Land-Sell15 Jul 1867  Ebenezer and Rebecca sold small parcels of their land over the years. In 1867 they sold 10 acres to the Trustees of Glade Spring Church for the establishment of a parsonage. The trustees paid $1,000 for the property which sat on a small rise south of the church. The church expanded the land surrounding the parsonage in Nov. 1874 when the trustees purchased an additional 7 acres from Ebenezer and Rebecca for $300.10,11 
Land-Sell3 Apr 1869  And on April 3, 1869 Ebenezer and Rebecca sold 35 acres from the northwest end of their property to Peter Clark for $1,420. The southern edge of the parcel abutted the Stage Rd.12 
Land-Sell4 Apr 1873  This was followed by the sale, 4 years later, of an adjacent 16 acres to John M. & Thomas B. Clark [Peter Clark's sons] for $648.25.13 
Widowed3 Sep 1879  Rebecca was widowed when Ebenezer died in the fall of 1879. 
Cens-1880Jun 1880  The following summer she was recorded as the head of a household that included her sons John (22) and Walter (16).14 
Death7 Nov 1899 Rebecca died on 7 Nov 1899 at age 77.2,3 
Burial She was buried at Old Glade Spring Cemetery in Washington County, Virginia.2
