Cens-186023 Jul 1860  Three years later they were recorded on the 1860 census with the two children born to them, 3 year old "Solveyonus" [Solvey] and an unnamed 8 month old [James, born in Dec. 1859]. Thomas was a farmer; he owned land valued at $4,000 and personal property worth $250. The household was enumerated adjacent to 65 year old Mary Catron.5,6 [Thomas' mother] 
Widowed  Thomas died later in 1860.7 
Marriage14 Jul 1863 Nancy married second William Humphries Lloyd, son of Thomas Lloyd and Letitia (?), on 14 Jul 1863 in Washington County, Virginia.8 
  William had first been married to Mary Elizabeth Catron, the sister of Nancy's first husband Thomas. 
  William died in Sept. 1864 from wounds sustained during the Civil War. He and Nancy do not appear to have had children together, or at least none who survived. By 1880 Nancy made her home with her daughter Solvey and her husband Robert Caldwell where she was enumerated in 1880, 1900 and 1910.9,10,11,12 
Death26 Jan 1914 Nancy died on 26 Jan 1914 in Washington County, Virginia, at age 80.3,4 
Burial She was buried at Zion Methodist Cemetery in Washington County, Virginia.4
