FatherJames Fullen1 b. 15 May 1751, d. 1817
MotherSarah Whitley d. 1820
Birth8 Mar 1781 or 8 Mar 1783 Tabitha Fullen was born on 8 Mar 1781 or 8 Mar 1783 in Russell County, Virginia. A 1937 reading of Tabitha's stone reported her year of birth as 1783. A reading done in the 1960s reported the year as 1781 and additionally reported her age at death as 72 years, 2 months and 12 days. Oddly, that information was not included in the 1937 transcription and is more consistent with the 1781 year of birth.1,2,3
Marriage31 Jan 1811 She married James C. Hayter, son of Israel Hayter and Ann Crawford, on 31 Jan 1811 in Washington County, Virginia.4
Death4 Jun 1853 Tabitha died of typhoid fever on 4 Jun 1853 in Washington County. The month of death reported for Tabitha also differs between the 1837 and the 1960s era reading of her headstone. The later transcription interpreted the month as Jan., however both the 1937 reading and the Washington Co. death register report the month as June.1,5,3
Burial She was buried at Hayter Cemetery in Washington County, Virginia.2
  Tabitha's headstone included this information:

"All of her children lived to see their mother buried, and were present as was also her husband and all of her living grandchildren, fifteen in number."3
