Marriage2 Aug 1911 He married first Hettie Georgia Robinson on 2 Aug 1911.2 
Military5 Jun 1917  According to his death certificate, Ray served in World War I. He registered for the draft in 1917 at Glen Rose where he worked as a stone mason and contractor. He indicated that he was married and had one child. The form described Ray as of medium height and slender with blue eyes and light colored hair.3,1  
  Ray and Hettie were the parents of two daughters. 
Marriage He married second Loula Evelyn Lumpkin.4 
Cens-19302 Apr 1930  Ray and Loula lived in Tom Green County, Texas, in 1930. Ray was employed as a cement plasterer. "A.T." Robinson, age 60, lived with the couple and worked as a cement finisher. Although identified as Ray's father-in-law, he was probably Ray's father.5 
Cens-19409 Apr 1940  By 1935 Ray and Loula had settled in Arcadia Park, a suburb of Dallas. Ray's mother had lived in Arcadia in 1930. Ray's father also moved to Dallas but was not living with Ray and Loula in 1940.6 
Death17 Apr 1957 Ray died on 17 Apr 1957 at Johnson County Memorial Hospital in Cleburne, Johnson County, Texas, at age 66.2,3 
Burial19 Apr 1957 He was buried on 19 Apr 1957 at Caddo Cemetery in Joshua, Johnson County, Texas.2,7
