| 12 Jul 1883 | Armstrong's aunt Sarah Edmondson wrote her will in Washington County, Virginia in 1883. Her will included this statement: "The children of my sister Ann Scott and Armstrong and Nickerson S. Edmondson if any of the parties are dead their children take the parties share". This would seem to suggest Armstrong did not live in Washington County.2 |
