          (a)- Nancy Hill,

          (b)- Celina Hill,

          (c)- Jerome Hill,

6.- Jane Beatty never married – buried near Jonesville, Va.

There is a tradition in this family that one of the forebears married a daughter of Lord Douglas, of Aberdeen, Scotland, whose daughter, in 1761, at the age of 12, was kidnapped and sold in America to a Quaker man and wife, who having no children brought her up as a daughter.  That there is a castle in Scotland and a legacy, etc., left to the 5th generation by Lord Douglas.

(I got these records for Dr. Bill Sam Gilmer, grandson of William Gilmer III, and though [sic] you might like to have a copy if you do not already have them – if so, just discard this.)
