BirthMay 1875 Eugene M. Edmondson was born in May 1875 in Virginia according to the 1900 census, however his age on the 1880 census suggests he was born in May 1874.3,2 
Cens-19001 Jun 1900  Eugene's older brothers Robert and William moved to California in the late 1800s. His sister "Tommie" lived in Texas. Sister Nancy and her husband Robert Wright settled in Hardeman Co., Tennessee. Eugene lived with them in 1900, as did his mother Fannie and sister Mary. Eugene was employed as a dentist.3 
Marriage He married Carrie Stapleton. 
Cens-191015 Apr 1910  By 1910 Nannie and Robert Wright had moved to California, taking Eugene's mother as well. Eugene and Carrie remained in Tennessee, lodging in the city of Memphis where Eugene continued to work as a dentist.1 
Cens-192019 Jan 1920  However a few years later they moved to Texas, settling at 2025 Cumberland Ave. in the community of Waco (McLennan County).4 
Death28 Oct 1921 Eugene died of a pulmonary thrombosis on 28 Oct 1921 in Waco, McLennan County, Texas, at age 46.5 
Burial He was buried at Oakwood Cemetery in Waco, Texas.5 
  Carrie was pregnant with the couple's 5th child when Eugene died. The infant was stillborn 6 weeks later. The couple's first daughter, Nancy had died of appendicitis in 1918. Carrie remarried but tragedy struck again in 1936 when daughter Charlotte died at age 20 following an operation.
