Birth5 May 1886 Henry Hyden Edmondson was born on 5 May 1886 in Virginia.2 
Marriage7 Jan 1912 He married Gradie M. Fox on 7 Jan 1912 in Trinidad, Las Animas County, Colorado.1 
Residence Trinidad is not far across the Colorado border between Las Animas County and Union County, New Mexico where many members of Henry's family were residing by 1912. He may have already been living in New Mexico when he married Gradie The couple made the community of Clayton in Union County their home in the first years of their marriage. 
Milit-Reg12 Sep 1918 On Sept. 12, 1918 Henry registered for the World War I draft in Clayton. The form describes him as tall, of slender build with blue eyes and red hair. He was employed as a salesman for Otho Johnson.2 
Migration  In the early 1920s Henry and Gradie left New Mexico and moved to Texas. 
Cens-19307 Apr 1930 There they were enumerated living in the community of Slaton in Lubbock County in 1930. Henry was the proprietor of a dry goods store. The household also included daughter Pearl (17), son Hyden (7) and son "Babie" [or Bobie for Robert]. Henry was 43 and Gradie was 35.3 
Death16 May 1966 Henry died on 16 May 1966 in Lubbock County, Texas, at age 80.1

Henry first migrated from Virginia to New Mexico, but eventually settled in Lubbock County, Texas which can be located on the Texas map (also accessible via the Misc. Locations link in the menu bar at the top of any page).
