  The farm was located on Beaver Creek. William's father deeded him the house and 130 acres of land in 1880. However in 1891 William sold the property and moved to land on Reedy Creek Road in Washington County, Virginia.5 
Death16 Jan 1893 William died of heart disease on 16 Jan 1893 in Washington County, Virginia, at age 41.3,2 
Burial He was buried at Stoffel Cemetery in Washington County, Virginia.3
