Birth27 Sep 1892 Lynch Sanders Dunn was born on 27 Sep 1892.3 
 Lynch's parents divorced in late 1895 when he was 3 years old. The court decided Lynch and his sister Georgeanne should live with their father. Sometime after the divorce their mother moved to Oregon where she remarried but died not long afterwards. 
Cens-190027 Jun 1900  Lynch lived in his grandfather's home in Saltville, Washington County with his father, stepmother, sister, half-sister and aunt.4 
Marriage22 Dec 1917 He married Ada Lou Mattie Isabell Whitlock on 22 Dec 1917 in Norfolk, Virginia.5 
Cens-192013 Jan 1920 In the years following their marriage Lynch and Ada lived in Portsmouth, Virginia. The 1920 census recorded Lynch, 27, Ada, 28 and 5 month old William. Lynch worked as a boilermaker at the US Navy yard. Many of his neighbors were also employed at the Navy yard.6 
Cens-193021 Apr 1930 Ten years later the family had moved to Shenandoah, Page County, Virginia, where Lynch again worked as a boilermaker but this time for a steam railroad. The family lived on 7th street in the Shendoah Iron Works District, where they rented a home for $20 a month. Many of Lynch's neighbors also worked for the railroad; perhaps in support of the iron works. Lynch and Ada's family had grown to include 5 children, 3 boys and 2 girls. Two more children would be added in the years after this census enumeration.7 
Death4 Feb 1949 Lynch died on 4 Feb 1949 at age 56.3 
Burial He was buried at Olive Branch Cemetery in Portsmouth, Virginia.3,8
