Marriage She married Benjamin Newton Ryburn, son of William Armstrong Ryburn and Margaret A. McCready.2,3 
Cens-192012 Jan 1920 Sarah and Ben lived in the Glade Spring district of Washington County, where Ben worked as a fireman on the railroad.4 
Death6 Oct 1924 Sarah died on 6 Oct 1924 at age 30.1 
  Sarah died a few days after the birth of her youngest son. Ben later remarried, but the infant (also named Ben) was raised by Walter and Bertie (Rutherford) McNew.5 
Burial She was buried at Old Baptist Cemetery in Washington County, Virginia.1 
  Ben (Sr.) had himself been raised by Walter McNew's parents after his own mother died young and as a result often used the McNew surname (or McNew Ryburn). 

Research Comment:

There is an Annie McNew Ryburn buried in Old Baptist Cemetery along with Ben and Ella. Her dates are listed as: 7 Nov. 1921-21 Apr. 1924. Was this another child of Ben and Ella?6
