Residence  Joseph and his family lived for some years on Lee St. in Bristol. They purchased a home originally built by Capt. John Terry, an early settler. The Cloyds expanded the home.6,7 
AnecdoteJan 1943  On January 19, 1943, Joseph delivered a talk to the Washington County, Virginia Historical Society on Ft. Kilmackronen, where his father was born and raised.2 
Occupation Joseph was a lawyer by profession.4 
Death17 May 1954 Joseph died on 17 May 1954 in Blountville, Sullivan County, Tennessee, at age 85.4
