Marriage7 Dec 1869 She married Henry Clay Newell, son of John Montgomery Newell and Margaret Beaty, on 7 Dec 1869 at the home of R.F. Beattie [Florence's brother Robert who was married to Henry's sister Hettie] in Pulaski County, Kentucky. Henry was 37; Florence was 28.5 
Cens-18803 Jun 1880  Florence and Henry lived in the town of Somerset. They were the parents of two children: Sallie and John.6 
Cens-19008 Jun 1900  At the turn of the century the couple were recorded residing in a residence on the east side of Craborchard Street in Somerset. Henry described his occupation as a capitalist. Son John was 26 and lived at home; he was a dentist.4 
Death21 Nov 1912 Florence died on 21 Nov 1912 at age 77.2 
Burial She was buried at Somerset City Cemetery in Pulaski County, Kentucky.2
