Cens-187021 Sep 1870  Four years after their marriage Ann and William were recorded living with Elizabeth Beaty [Ann's widowed mother]. Three year old James Tally, presumably Ann and William's son, was also part of the household as was Margaret Gaither.4 [Ann's sister] 
  The family was probably living on the land Ann's deceased father James Beaty inherited from his maternal grandfather Thomas Montgomery. 
Deathbefore 4 Mar 1890 Ann died before 4 Mar 1890 at which time J.F. Beaty sold his interest in 9 acres formerly belonging to Elizabeth Beatty deceased. The deed referenced the heirs of Ann Tally, deceased.5
