Cens-18507 Sep 1850  Isaac may have been the 22 year old Isaac Larimer enumerated in the household of James and Sally McKee in 1850. Isaac's brother James Larimer married James and Sally McKee's daughter Eliza a few years earlier.3
It is also possible Isaac's mother (who was deceased by 1850) and James McKee were siblings.
Marriage Isaac Larimer married Martha Jane Tilson, daughter of David Tilson.4,5
Isaac and Martha appear to have married in the early 1850s as their son Thomas was born abt 1853. However Isaac was deceased by Feb. 25, 1856 at which time "Bracken" [Breckenridge] Hawthorne posted a bond in Washington County (Virginia) Court as Thomas's guardian. In May 1860 "Bracken" posted a second bond. This record stated that both Isaac and Martha Jane were deceased.

Thomas appears to have lived with the Hawthorne family after his parent's death as he was enumerated in their household in 1860. Thomas's grandfather, Robert Larimer, lived nearby.6,7
