Childhood  Robert was the 5th child, and only son, in a family of 6 children. His parents settled in Texas in the early 1880s; they were originally from Virginia. Robert's mother died in the fall of 1897 when Robert was 6 years old. His father's sister, Sallie McCall, lived with the family in Texas and helped raise Robert and his siblings. 
Marriage He married Mary Lola Clark.1 
Children  Robert and Mary were the parents of Thelma and Robert Clark McCall. 
Death18 Jul 1961 Robert died on 18 Jul 1961 in Texas at age 70.1,4
