This time Samuel bequeathed his "son Robert" $400, but stipulated that the money was to remain in the hands of Samuel's executors who were to dispose of it at their discretion during Robert's life. The will also stated that if a balance should remain at Robert's death it was to be divided among his heirs. Robert did not share in the larger distribution of funds that was to occur after Samuel's estate was sold.1 |
