Birth21 Mar 1892 David Clyde Beattie was born on 21 Mar 1892 in Andrew County, Missouri.1 
Marriage29 Jul 1914 He married Lula Pearle Van Fossan on 29 Jul 1914 at Bolckow in Andrew County, Missouri.3 
Cens-192014 Jan 1920  David and Lula farmed land in Platte township (Andrew County) following their marriage. In 1920 they were enumerated with their eldest son, Harvey, age 3.4 
  A second son died at birth in late 1918. 
Cens-193011 Apr 1930  By 1920 the family had grown to include 2 more children: Bobby (4) and Mary (2). David and Lula's farm was reported to be worth $7,600. The family owned a radio, one of the questions unique to the 1930 census.5 
Migration  In the early 1940s David and Lula moved west, settling in the San Francisco, California, area. David's obituary stated that before moving to California he had resided in St. Joseph.6 [Missouri] 
DeathSep 1955 David died the 15th (family record) or 16th (CA death index) of Sep 1955 in San Francisco, California, at age 63.7,8,9 
Burial He was buried at St. Joseph Memorial Park in St. Joseph, Buchanan County, Missouri.10
