Birth-Calccirca 21 Dec 1809 Margaret L. Talbert was born circa 21 Dec 1809 calculated from the information on her headstone.5 
Ward15 Aug 1820  Following her father's death the Washington County court appointed James Talbert [Margaret's older brother] as her guardian.2 
WillNov 1834  Margaret wrote her will in late 1834. She left her estate to her sisters Eliza Horn, Bethia Logan and Mary Talbert. She named her brother-in-law Samuel Logan as her executor.1 
Death22 Nov 1834 Margaret died on 22 Nov 1834 in Washington County, Virginia.5 
Burial She was buried near her parents and 2 of her sisters at Old Glade Spring Cemetery in Washington County, Virginia.5

Margaret spent her life in this home, known today as the Old Stagecoach Inn, on the Great Rd in Washington County. Her father held a license to conduct an inn on the property and after his death Margaret's mother continued to do the same, no doubt with Margaret's help.6

Commissioner, to John Clark 7 3/4 acres resulting from a Chancery Ct decision in which John Clark was the plaintiff and the heirs of Bazil Talbert, dec'd were the defendants. The heirs were named as Mary Talbert, widow, and Joseph Meek Jr. and Sally his wife, James, Bazil, Barbara, Eliza, Bethia, Peggy, Thomas and Polly Talbert. The deed was dated and recorded 3 Aug. 1821.
