just debts be paid

beloved wife Margaret one third moveable estate, 5 pounds cash, and third of profits of plantation and mill, a bay stallion, choice of a bed; one third of houses and barn during her widowhood

daughter Martha, wife of John Buchanan: 20 shillings

son William Buchanan: his horse and saddle, my silver shoe buckles, and a double portion of my estate

son Patrick Buchanan: 3 pounds at wife’s death

son Robert Buchanan: 3 pounds at wife’s death

son John Buchanan: silver horses [?] buckles and wearing cloths [clothes?]

son James Buchanan: 20 pounds at wife’s death

at death of wife plantation to be sold by sons Patrick and James who are appt executors

remaining estate be divided into 6 equal parts; son William 2 parts, remaining 4 parts divided between sons Alexander and David and 2 daughters Mary and Katherine Buchanan

daughters Mary and Katherine Buchanan: 5 pounds each at my death

Robert Greer, now in my care, put to learn the art of a tailor; his master be obligated to give him when free 3 pounds, ten shillings; I also give Robert Greer 3 pounds from my estate at decease of my wife.
