I Sarah Edmondson….

1. executors to enlarge the space enclosing the graves of my sister Elizabeth Snead and others so as to enclose my grave and those of my mother & brother

2. purchase good marble headstones with suitable inscriptions over graves of my father, mother, brother John, and my own

3. pay all just debts and burial expenses then pay to brother David Edmondson $100

4. sister Ann C. Scott $100; to nieces Mrs. Virginia Grant, Elizabeth Shaver, Sarah Rambo, Melissa Ryan, Florence Smith, Elizabeth Hays, Mary McCloud, Mary Ann Scott: $50 each; to Elizabeth Edmondson (wife of Steward) $50

5. to Henry & Nanie Huchinson – children of Phillip Huchinson (colored) a suit of clothing each

6. to Wm & Anthony Weeks, children of Peter Weeks, colored, a good shirt each

7. to Lend [?] and Sarah, daughters of Stewart Edmondson a good dress each

8. if any part of estate left after paying above then give to brother Robert Scott in trust for the benefit of Charles, John, James and Burton, infant children of Wm Scott decd: $50

9. to Glade Spring Presbyterian Church $50

10. to Glade Spring Baptist Church $20

11. Glade Spring Methodist Church $20

12. to Mary Robinson, Jean K. Robinson and Ann More $10 each; to Fannie Owens $5.00

13. remainder of money if any left to be equally divided between the sons of my brother William Scott dec’d and his daughter Sarah Hutton’s (dec’d) children. The children of my sister Ann Scott and Armstrong and Nickerson S. Edmondson if any of the parties are dead their children take the parties share [wording and intention not clear]

1. to Mary McCloud ˝ dozen dining plates, ˝ doz dessert plates, 1 large glass fruit stand, 1 glass pitcher, 1 set chinaware, 1 set knives and forks, 1 large white dish, 1 parlor carpet, 1 side board, 1 pair china vases, 2 folding tables, 1 parlor looking glass, 1 set andirons, shovel, tongs and fender (parlor), 1 counterpane & wash bowl and pitcher, 3 large silver spoons, 2 parlor tables, 1 large breast pin, 1 large Bible, all my glass tumblers, 1 trunk

2. to Maggie McCloud, daughter of Mary McCloud, 1 bed with clothes; to Sulver [?], daughter of Mary McCloud my china vase and side saddle; to Mary Hall, daughter of Mary McCloud my bow of hair and small breast pin.

3. to niece Florence Smith ˝ doz dining plates, ˝ doz dessert plates, the enlarged pictures of Dr. Snead, Mrs. Snead and myself, one pair Durty [?] window curtains, 3 silver dessert spoons, 1 large breast pin with black setts, 1 doz goblets

4. to Bellie, daughter of Florence Smith my photograph album

7. to Mary Smith, daughter of Florence Smith 1 rose quilt, 1 small square parlor table, 1 glass pitcher; to her sister Nannie Smith 1 bed with clothes
