[The above were] “sums which they severally relinquished to me as their interest in the black girl Mariah.”
Sister Martha ALLEN, “two beds and the cloathing, also my saddle and bridal,” also two candlesticks.

Mary E. McCALL, dau. of brother Wm., bureau and looking glass.
Sarah J. McCALL, dau. of brother Arthur, my other saddle.

The separate bed clothes and table cloths to be divided among,
Martha ALLEN, Wm. & Arthur McCALL in the following manner,
to Martha ALLEN, all the sheets and table cloths and then the rest to be equally divided among the three.
“The balance of my personal estate to be equally divided between Arthur and William McCALL.”
“The balance of my money not given away as above directed, I will and desire to be equally divided among Wm. McCALL, Arthur McCALL, Martha ALLEN and Nancy WHITEHOUSE.”
“I desire after my decease that all my slaves shall be free yet I leave it discretionary with my two old women whether to comply with the laws of Virginia or to find them a home among some of friends.”
