Abstract of the will of John REID:
Perishable part of estate immediately sold and proceeds used to pay debts and funeral expenses
Son Hugh - all my lands provided he pays to my 3 daughters:
- Jane GRAHAM - $200 in horses 5 years after my decease,
- Peggy GRAHAM and Isabella MOFFETT - $100 each in horses 5 years after my decease
Grandson Benjamin Reid - my riding horse & saddle
The monies arising from my personal estate to be equally divided between my 3 sons:
- Arthur, James and John
Executors: sons Arthur & Hugh
Witnesses: John MONTGOMERY, Jacob MICKLE.
