- beloved wife Mary Ann Hutton my plantation on which I now live, to have and hold to her and her heirs forever

- also to wife Mary Ann all my personal estate of every kind (farming tools, wagon and gears, horses, cattle, sheep and hogs) with all the money on hand after payment of debts, funeral expenses

- also to wife Mary Ann all debts that may be due to me

- wife Mary Ann to use and dispose of as she thinks proper, charged only with payment of just debts
